Speak to local community organizations such as Kiwanis, Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, etc. about our programs and services.

Deliver calendars and program materials to specific doctor’s offices, clinics and hospitals.

Fundraising

Help us prepare for special events including our Annual Dinner Gala, Luncheon, or Bingo.

Join TWC-WLA's Junior Fundraising Corps.

The Junior Fundraising Corps will provide assistance to TWC-WLA fund development staff in a variety of ways relating to event coordination, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with event registration
• Décor
• Menu planning
• Auctions
• Raffles
• Games
• Prizes
• Public relations
• Invitations
• Entertainment
• Attending local 5K races and health expos to promote our upcoming 5K race
• Soliciting local businesses for silent auction item donations
• Researching & soliciting potential event sponsors
• Compiling research results into spreadsheets
 

The Junior Fundraising Corps presents an excellent opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and gain valuable experience in non-profit fund development, event coordination, event production and public relations. Program Development

Join a committee to identify and develop new programs.

Support to the Board of Directors

Serve on a sub-committee.

Administrative

  Reception: Spend a few hours each week greeting visitors, providing telephone callers with information about our programs, and directing calls to the appropriate person in the office.

Office Support: Assist with copying, faxing, shredding and other light administrative duties.

Mailings: Help assemble mailings by folding, stuffing, stamping, and sealing!

Computer Projects: Help with internet research, data entry in Excel or database application, scanning documents, creating mail merged letters from Excel, or designing flyers and event display materials.

   Telephone Calls (no solicitations): Call local businesses to inform them of our services or gather contact information for donated auction items.

Administrative office hours are 9 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday.
