The mission of The Wellness Community-West Los Angeles is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.  All programs and services are provided free of charge.

American Brain Tumor Association - This site offers information about the newest treatments, links to clinical trial listings, physician information, and support services for brain tumor patients and families

American Cancer Society

American Cancer Society's Breast Cancer Resource Center - This site offers a list of books, brochures, and organizations dealing with breast cancer, as well as other resources

American Liver Foundation - The American Liver Foundation is the only national, voluntary non-profit health agency dedicated to preventing, treating and curing hepatitis and all liver diseases through research, education and support groups

Breast Cancer Answers - Located at the University of Wisconsin's Comprehensive Cancer Center, this site has links to stories about the latest breast cancer issues, including the relationship between birth-control pills and breast cancer, new forms of mammography, and appropriate levels of mammography screening for women ages 40 to 49

Cancer and Careers - Cancer and Careers is committed to changing the face of cancer in the workplace by providing a comprehensive website, free publications, and a series of support groups and educational seminars for employees with cancer.

Cancer Hope Network - free, confidential, one-on-one support to people with cancer and their families

Cancer Link - A new site that provides a variety of cancer-related web links such as menus on specific types of cancer, access to cancer-specific "chat rooms", and mailing lists.

CancerNet - A cancer information source maintaining lists of other sources as well as answers to FAQs

Cancer News on the Net - An Internet publication that provides articles on specific types of cancer and links to other cancer web sites

Cancer Trials - cancerTrials is a clinical trials information resource from the National Cancer Institute

Lymphoma Research Foundation - creates, promotes and supports high quality research resulting in more effective, safer treatments and the ultimate cure for lymphoma.

National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations - Check out the results of a recent survey of women age 50 or older

National Cancer Institute - Another comprehensive on-line cancer information site, this site includes a PDQ site; search engines; information on clinical trials, national and international research, and proceedings.

National Marrow Donors Program - This site provides information on the national marrow donors program as well as links to other cancer-related web pages.

OncoLink - Located at the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Center, this site supports such listings as a disease-oriented menu with links to information about specific forms of cancer; financial information for cancer patients; announcements of upcoming conferences and meetings; Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs); and references to information about ongoing clinical trials.

PanCAN - The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is a nationwide network of people dedicated to working together to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatica.org - A gathering point for the latest news and disinterested information in regard to clinical trials and other responsible medical care in the treatment of pancreatic cancer.

Prostate Cancer Resource Network - The PCRN is a charitable organization dedicated to providing information, hope, and encouragement to prostate cancer patients and their families

Ronnie Lippin Cancer Information and Resource Line - The Ronnie Lippin Cancer Information and Resource Line is dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families in Los Angeles County cope with the complexities and challenges of a cancer diagnosis by providing access to current cancer related information and resources.

Surviving Cancer Whole - an online community where people affected by cancer can learn from each other, share their experiences and inspire each other to survive whole through blogging, journaling, social networking, discussions, and photo sharing

Team Survivor - Free exercise and health education programs for women with a past or present diagnosis of cancer. Variety of exercise programs offered throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Women of all ages and fitness levels and in all stages of cancer treatment and recovery are welcome.

American Institute for Cancer Research- AICR is the leading national cancer organization in the field of diet, nutrition, and cancer. Their site contains information on cancer and cancer prevention as well as current research and recipes for healthy eating.
