There is
an exciting new addition to The Wellness Community-West Los
Angeles – A LAUGH LIBRARY. 
Board
members, staff, participants and visitors all joined in for a
celebration of the opening of the Laugh Library on Sunday,
February 27, 2005. See photos from the
event below.
The
Laugh Library will serve multiple purposes, including a comedy
library with free DVD’s and books, a screening room with a
42" plasma television, and a group room that will seat 8-10
participants for a support group.
This is
the first project of a young Los Angeles based non-profit
called, "Choose to Laugh." Choose to Laugh, Inc.
spear-headed by Shane Rahmani, (twenty-six year old cancer
survivor) Ben Blumenfield and Alexis Speed, teamed up with U.K.
designer Ella Cottrell and several donors to contribute over
$25,000 to remodel the space into a warm and welcoming LAUGH
LIBRARY.
